This is what is needed guys, we added 1000 + members in just 2 days last week. We can definately add 5000 more members in the next 15 days.
If IV leadership core wants us to add members and raise funds, thats what we should do. If you have ideas, please send PM to IV Core.

I think the thread should stay open so that members that do not visit this site regularly know the truth.
.
www.immigration-law.com has now retracted his statement this morning. He maybe following our website and giving updates.
When our members posted this yesterday, some of our members started accusing IV core of not knowing anything and indirectly saying that they are not doing the job right. Now we have seen that IV core team responded to the thread quickly and gave us the correct answer even before anybody else on the internet could give. That itself shows how much these core people are working hard. It is us that are at fault by not helping them. They are doing all this with the support of mere 200 members that have contributed. I think it is our responsibility to contribute even without their asking us. Let core team do their work and we can all support them from outside.
Great job IV.
IV has not taken the credit for Kerry's inclusion.... then who did it ? Did Kerry on his own added this amendment ? I don't beleive it.... is their someone other than IV also working on our cause

The fees quoted in this posting are incorrect, please double check the amount on each form as you download. I have just filed and I 485 is $325 + fingerprinting fee, I 765 is $180. Be sure to get your checks right when you have waited so long you do not want to give the USCIS reason to send your application back for the sake of a few dollars missing from the fee.
Hi to all,
These fees are as per Dec '04. These details are to give an idea only. Some of the information may be out dated like fees. But the lists of documents are right. You need all these documents fro each petitioner.

I can tell you my experience. Back in 2003 when my company was applying for my LC from MD, I explored the possibility of filing my LC from other states where the backlog wasn't huge. I was turned down because the company was not willing to write a letter justifying why I was staying/working in one state but was applying for my LC from another state.
Maybe this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison with your situation, but if it helps...
Good luck.
Thanks,
Jayant

I am writing to the local congressmen, to request USCIS to apply the spillover visas to EB cases with older priority date first (irrespective of it's category or country). I hope this will help, if lot of these local congressmen/women contact USCIS to handle this spillover in a fair manner, allocating to older priority date cases first irrespective of category or country. All EB3 folks please take some time and do the same writing to your congressmen about this issue.

WASHINGTON -- House Republican leaders are scheduling a new round of immigration hearings, saying three already held have strengthened their case for enforcement-heavy legislation.
Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, said Wednesday the hearings have made clear that a Senate bill that opens an avenue toward citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants would undermine border security.
He contended that members of both parties are moving toward the House position that the nation's estimated 12 million illegal immigrants should be offered no guarantees against being deported.
"I think the hearings have been an absolute success, and they've put us in a stronger position to craft a responsible bill that secures our borders and strictly enforces our immigration laws," Boehner said.........

No immigration provisions with HR 2

02/02/2007: Senate Passed H.R. 2 Without Immigration Reform Bills
* During the debate, the immigration reform bill introduced by Senator Kerry as Title VI was agreed to, but it appears that at the last minute the immigration reform bills were sliced off along with all other bills which are not related to the minimum wage in passing H.R. 2 at 5:00 p.m. by the Senate. We incorrectly reported the immigration bills were part of the H.R. 2 which the Senate passed yesterday. The final H.R. 2 bill passed by the Senate is expected to go to the Senate-House Conference committee.

We, the "aliens".
"Part of my frustration is to hear illegal immigrants called immigrants when I'm called an alien. I'm doing things right, but I'm still called an alien," ... "If I lose my job tomorrow, my reward is a ticket back home." Very true...
Most of my colleagues on L1/H1 visas went back upon completion of their 5/6 year terms, they never applied for GC. Couple of them are right now packing back.
The management of the company (not IT related) bravely decided to replace the "aliens" by american engineers. This proud decision had a disaterous consequence - our international based customers pulled back and found other contractors. Despite of all the money pumped to promote the "american" presence in the company, down-sizing is on its way and closure is on the horizon...
I was stupid enough to decide in 2003 to apply for a GC and to bear all this BS. Now working hard on plan B and waiting for the right moment.
Seriously considering plan B - Packing up.

You made very good points. May I suggest we ask members to call on the phone too if they're busy? This actually worked in delaying the first Bailout in 2009, when they received numerous calls.
Customer service reps do this for hours everyday in some places.
We have had phone and email campaigns in the past. Phone campaigns work the best when a specific bill is being debated and there is the target 2-3 days campaign. The rest of the time, person-to person presentation is the best.

Also,
How come no one in your company B asked you whether you are married or not and whether or not you need H4 filed for you spouse. Same thing about company C. Either of these companies' HR or immigration lawyer should have asked you about dependents and spouse?
I dont know but even the smallest of consulting companies dont make this kind of mistake and they would remind you if you forget. My company's lawyer is quite lazy and slow but even his paralegal asked all the right questions and got all documents needed and didnt forget stuff when filing for various things.
whn i filed my transfer with company B..my wife had not come to USA and my lawyer didnt tell me tht after she comes here i shud file for her xtension also..
Whn i was transferred to Comp. C..thats whn the lawyer pointed out my wife's i 94 was expired which shud not have happened..

There are 13 guys voted "NO". May I know why. These guys already got approval or what? If so, Please remember this voting is only for people are struck in Perm process.
Its a stupid poll, there will be people lurking around selection 'No' or 'Maybe' as an answer just for fun. We just need to count by the number of people posting Audit details. Poll does not make any sense to me OR we just need 1 answer: Yes:p
