Did you notice any LUD? I noticed soft LUD just now, but nothing in case status. Check this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/forum5-all-other-green-card-issues/1599300-action-item-for-i485-transferred-case-members.html). I had to do submit AR-11 for no reason. Not sure whether LUD is because of that.

Here are my thoughts about May visa Bulletin:
The severe retrogression of EB3 has nothing to do with EB1C (if at all this will affect something, that would be spill over to EB2). This severe retrogression is the result of "FBI name check backlog" being cleared up. We never had actual info as to how many of "super old" cases were pending due to this: Now that they have cleared it up over the past year, it seems to me that it used up most of the visa numbers for EB3 during this fiscal year. This is actually a good news for the people who were waiting for almost a decade, but not so good news for the recent filers.
The main uncertainty is: How many more visa numbers would be needed to actually finish this "name check backlog"...we simply don't know; hopefully not too many.
Impact of this on EB2 would be of similar magnitude and therefore, we can consider that this fiscal year got "almost completely chewed up" in clearing those name check cases. For EB2, actual impact wouldbe apparent (hopefully) in the last quarter when EB2 India an china will move toghether (if the dates are similar like last fiscal year; i.e. 2006, then we can say that it took "year worth of visa numbers" to fix the name check mess. At the same time, some of the effect would be due to EB1C, but I personally have serious doubt that it would have changed much compared to previous years (we will only come to know about EB1C impact once the year end stats will be out and if we see significant change in EB1 usage)..
In any case, "EB2 being current in one year" dream of VDLRAO will not come true (I personally supported this thought last year), mainly because of clearing of FBI name check backlog (which is actually a good thing). As per pending list of Emploment based I485 published by USCIS , and per my my estimation, EB3 with PD up to Dec 2004 will be cleared on or before Sep 2010.
Further if EB4 , EB5 , and EB6 spill over is allowed , then up to PD Sep 2005 (EB3 ) will be cleared by end of Sep 2010.

BharatPremi, do you know if one can have both 485 and CP processes simultaneously?
SIMULTANEOUSLY you can't have both. Either AOS or CP. One can covert one from another but it introduces enormous delay. AOS-to-CP atleast 1 year more delay and for CP-to-AOS at least 3 to 6 months delay.

I took a poll on this website like a year ago.
The results were very similar to the trackkit poll.
In summary, about
50% are with PDs of Year 2000 - 2004 and 50% 2005 - 2007.
I was surprised to find EB3 PDs in 2000 and 2001 but there were few.
So far this poll is also showing similar results.

why would EB2 retrogress to before 2003? It was at 2003 for a long time (8 months?). The only people still with PD of EB2 2002 are the ones just getting out of BEC, there cant be too many of them...
There may be some EB2 Indians with PD in 2002 and 2003 (with traditional non-RIR LC) got out of BEC recently. If 1,500 Indian non-RIR LCs (with EB2 PD 2003)certified recently from BEC, that is sufficent to move the date back to 2003 for India again. Having said that, it is all prediction. My prediction is just based on the magnitude of 485s (800K) filed recently, as is has all kind of composition in huge manitude, apart from so many 485s already pending due to name check.

As in my case, my PD, RD, ND and BD (BD aka Birth Day also :) ) all are well with in the current processing time frame and still waiting for the mercy of Lord USCIS.
I am praying for those unlucky folks like me, who are still waiting in the queue, to get approvals before the available visas get exhaust.

if i know this correctly, there are only 3000+ visa's (green cards)available for eb3 india and there are atleast 8000 people waiting in 2002. a person with a pd of mid 2002 also may need to wait atleast 2- 2 1/2 years before he/she gets their green card.
For you and me isnt it < 1year?

Me and my wife are both on H1 approvals (F1-OPT-H1) and planning to go to New Delhi for our very 1st H1b stamping and I was wondering if I can do the same and Book just 1 appointment for me and my wife and appear before the VO together at the same time?
