Once your I-140 is approved you can retain your Priorty dates. Even if the Company A revokes your I - 140 [ which they cannot do like that..they should have a valid reason to revoke anyones I-140 - either fraud or you are convicted for something ] . Now do you have the copy of your I-140 approval because that will be needed !

Everyone knows they are behind in their receipting at this time. They have channeled all resources at this time to the 485 petitions.
So much so that they suspended PPS for 140s, they don't want new 485s, even EAD/AP applications are being unduely delayed. Beyond their service commitment times with no reasons.
I think they expect to get back to normal receipting by the dates given.

How long is it taking now a days to get AP approval. I am from TX and e-filed on 2nd Oct (ND 4th OCT 2010) and want to know when I can expect the approval.
my spouse AP was approved last friday also from NSC and we recd the document just yesterday.

My Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Eng
Masters Degree in Computer Science
Nationality: India
Experience: 6 months (don't have docs to prove it though now..)
I would like to file my GC under EB2.
As per my little internet knowledge, is it true that for base requirements under EB2 are - MS + 0 years exp (Please correct me if i am wrong here)
I know one has to also prove that the job requires a MS degree ?? How can a lawyer suffice that requirement ?? Does 1 have to specify all latest hi-fi technologies for that ??
Are the other requirements of applying under EB2 ??
So to apply under EB2 one should belong to O*Net� JobZone 5, since i am comp eng/software developer i belong to category of O*Net� JobZone 4.
So for applying EB2 under O*Net� JobZone 4, do i have to show some experience related to that field/job ?? (Really confused about this one)

Big cos generally file a new Labor and are hesitant to hire if someone is beyonnd 6 yrs period. Even if you convince them that your old PD can be transferred, they are not convinced....(or do not know much about the process).

I came to know about IV, 2 weeks ago when I heard of the flower campaign from my friend . We are very fortunate to have IV with us and thousands of users in IV helping each other.
I am sure with out IV initiative , it would have been very hard to achieve what we got now. Thousands of people benefited as per yesterdays USCIS bulletin and thousands of people visiting IV every day for help. So please, lets show our gratitude to IV by contributing either one time payment or recurring. If atleast who ever benefited by July 17th bulletin contributes to IV, we can easily make $100k in July.
Lets celebrate our success by contrubuting to IV and making July2007 as the highest contributed month in IV history.

Hi,
I came to the USA on F-1 student visa which is expired on 2005. Currently I have H1B status (I-797 form) (and NOT a stamped visa) and I-94 attached to the I-797 form.
My question is that. Can I visit Canada for less than 30 days and coming back without the need to get a visa (automatic visa re-validation) OR I have to get a visa?
I am worried because I never have a stamped H1B visa on my passoprt. Only H1B status + I94 which are not attached to the passoprt?
I need your help and how can I make sure as I do not want to lose my job.

What was your own LC PD? Nothing personal just out of curiosity...
LC Sub/EB2 with PD June 2001 filed on July 27 with RD of Sept 8 got approved y'day. 140 filed on July 5th was approved on jan. no RFE, all were smooth.
I was afraid because of my last years on L1B and filed H1b though this year quota and not sure if i'm lucky to have a number lottery. This gave me major relaxation.

haha..but i can't seem to find a suitable color scheme :P
um...looks gritty? u talking about the 'rays', rite? i made it by drawing the lines and then radial blurring it...i used the good quality, maybe i should use the best quality next time :)
i have made some changes, including removing the words in the upperleft..but i can't change the flare cos i don't want to do it again :smirk: (took quite awhile ;))

You'll get it till expiry dt of your h1, they'll issue a new one with 'CY' under endirsements section meaning you are eligible to ride motorcycle.

As far as I know, since you are past 180 days of 485 filing, you are ok. You can stay in the country based on your pending 485 application. You can take whatever time it takes for you to get a job in your same/similar job classification. However, if your 485 is close to approval, then you need to hurry to find the job, since a job offer is required at the time of adjudication of 485. This will depend on your country of chargeability and PD. If you are from India/china/philippines/mexico with a later PD, you should be ok as long as you find a job in the same or similar classification.
