That is not an issue You can freely go. Almost no questions about job when using AP. I used it 3 times so far. f some one randomly asks, may be you can mention that you used AC21.
I had a question on the experience at POE if one has used AC-21 and working for an employer who is doing the W-2 but the person actually works at the client site.
All the posts I see here have been that people were randomly questioned on POE about whether they are still working for their sponsoring employer or not?
What about my case? I had filed I-485 during July fiasco, had an approved I-140 then. Changed jobs on EAD using AC-21 in Oct 2008, and again changing now second time.
The first change I did was when I was working with the same employer who had given me
the EVL.
I never travelled out of US during this time.
Now I will be working at a client site, which is different from the employer's address. Just want to know if there could be any issues?
Or is it advisable to not go to India until GC comes... which could be infinite number of years...

Hello there,
I have been wanting to make an IV contribution for a long time and here is my problem..I probably can be labeled a miseror a magpie! ..Whenever I go to the IV link to contribute and see the $50 or $100 option I panic and get out..yes I do!
I have some desi colleagues and was discussing this issue with them at work..and they had the exact same experience..wow..I am not the only magpie..
But hey is'nt IV the one which is at the receiving end not getting our contributions..
I speak from my own experience and call me a mapie or a miser..or whatever..I cant make myself make a $50 or more contribution .. thats the way I am..But I can sure make a smaller contribution (like a monthly recurring $10 contribution which really is easier to make) and I am quite sure IV will benefit from my small contributions as well as i think a lot more people will not hesitate making contributions in smaller denominations than a whopper $50+
And really this is not related to IV effort but more to do with my own way of thinking about parting with my money..I love my money..:)...

At PortOfEntry, CBP officers are QUESTIONING IF you are working for the sponsoring employer and many folks just switched jobs with AC-21 with no valid H1B anymore.
Questions:
1. What are the Consequences at Port of Entry on travelling with AP and NOT working for the ORIGINAL GC sponsor?
2. Can anyone share thier experience what was the outcome at Port of Entry when the answer is "NO - I am not working with sponsoring employer anymore" Were they held at Portof Entry indefinitely ?

Your good fight on the retrogression issue kind of kept us going without giving up. In just a few days what some of you have done with www.immigrationvoice.org is amazing and it truly deserves a lot better than the faint response they have got so far from all of us in this legal black hole. Honestly, I do not care if we are not able to raise 100K dollars for the lobbying efforts for the next immigration bill on February. I don not care if this money is finally lost. It will be money well spent if we all realize that we have to do something instead of waiting years and years and years� Any money is worth the effort regarding our goals, even if our present intention does not succeed. Is worth it!!. Lets move on, hoping for the best� It is worth to try this next immigration bill. Any money spent on this is worth it� Can not you guys see it? More and more years on this black hole!! More years paying our lawyers for H1B renewal, more years for renewal of our driving licenses, more years for our wives to wait, more years for our employers exploiting us� This next immigration bill could be our last chance in many years to get our unfair and sad situation known and probably solved. We would at least raise enough concern about the absurd situation of the legal immigrants� It could be a new Quixote tale, I do not care� A good part of my next paycheck will go to immigrationvoice� Whatever� Keep America growing� America is not just them�. If Martin Luther King Jr. can use the views of Gandhi successfully, why bother what we learnt in School?
Has anyone seen the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the MLK memorial at Atlanta as well as a whole section devoted to Gandhi in the museum.

I filed my I485/EAD/AP on August 7, 2007. Does this mean that I do not have to pay any fee for EAD renewal now ?
The instructions say this -
Special Instructions :
If you filed a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, on July 30, 2007, or after, then no fee is required to file a request for employment authorization on Form I-765. You may file the I-765 concurrently with your I-485, or you may submit the I-765 at a later date. If you file Form I-765 separately, you must also submit a copy of your Form I-797C, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence of the filing of an I-485.

Looks like you are also a candidate with three year bachelors degree and a namesake masters from US univ that you bought and which put you in EB2.
Legit EB2 = GRE (good Score) + Toefl (good score) + Fulltime MS/MBA + Job in forture 500
I am not sure what a job in "forture 500" means :) but there are tonns of people, with no US degree, working for "fortune" 100 companies like MS, GE etc .
Further to that, many reputed US university, including many of the state schools, offer Part time Masters course which per you is not legit.
As I said earlier, I challenge you -- say in black and white whether a part time or online MBA from a school like University of Massachusetts or University of Nebraska is legit or not.

For upper middle class, OBC shouldn't matter much since you can afford to enroll your children in private schools and have them work in private sector once they reach an appropriate age. If they are US citizens, they can come back to the US anytime for education and/or employment.
Talking of reservation and discrimination, what legal immigrants are facing in this country is not much different in my opinion. You can't even get your driver's license easily, let alone permanent residence. Most of us are here by choice even though we face all these issues in our daily life.

I am trying to say something about my financial success instead of lifestyle.
But I have a good lifestyle too. I socialize, have parties all the time, have 2 nice kids and a nice house and a nice family. What else you want in life.
